1° day GUBBIO
Electric car delivery to airport/station/hotel
Chek – in at 11.00 am to the hotel
Arrive in Gubbio and visit of the city in electric quadricycle with special attention to the places of the Spirit: Hermitage Sant’Ambrogio. The hermitage, one of the most striking buildings of the area, is set among rocky crags, near the “Gola del Bottaccione”. From the study of these rocks it is believed that the extinction of the dinosaurs occurred about 60 million years ago.The monastery is close to a “Cittadella Preistorica”, consisting of terraces lying on the rocky walls, protected by imposing “cyclopic walls”. 2° day – GUBBIO
Breakfast at Hotel and visit of the medieval palaces. The medieval political life of Gubbio was around Piazza Grande built in 1321 with the “Palazzo del Podestà” (1349) on the left and “Palazzo dei Consoli” (1332-1349) on the right where today there is the civic Museum. The complex is one of the most majestic medieval buildings. The interior of “Palazzo dei Consoli” still preserves the Hall of the Arengo, the palatine chapel and the noble floor where the Consolian government impressed its guests with the fountain and secret aisle with high hydraulic technology degree achieved by the manufacturers.
3° day – GUBBIO
Breakfast at Hotel and departure by electric car to KeBio farm, a green oasis in the Gubbio countryside. Pleasant walks in the woods among small lakes immersed in unspoiled nature. The organic agriculture of the KeBio farm is practiced through techniques and traditions for human well-being and natural resources preservation. Yogic farming is practiced with minimal soil processing and hand planting.
Lunch with organic products of the farm. Dinner and overnight at Park Hotel ai Cappuccini.
4° day – GUBBIO – EREMO DI SANTA CECILIA – NIKIS RESORT
Breakfast at Hotel and departure by electric car to visit Saint Cecilia’s hermitage in Pieve d’Agnano. Saint Cecilia, descended from a good eugubin family, she chose to do an austere spiritual journey with some young girl to who accompanied her towards sanctification.
Lunch to Park Hotel ai Cappuccini. Relaxation afternoon at the Wellness Center Nikis Resort. Dinner and overnight at Nikis Resort.
